A downtown staple! If you're a local; you've been here before ...if you're not, go for a drink. It's St. Pete history on Central. Come in and enjoy the peeps and bartenders. Mastry's is the stop for a mouthwatering drink and conversation before you take in dinner downtown.

Mastry's is one of my favorite bars. It's in the middle of chaos and it offers you a nice little reprieve. Taya (sp?) is my favorite bartender of all times. I'm also a bartender, so I know these things. She is very skilled at her craft, she's quick and her personality is fantastic! Love Jay, the owner. He's always so nice and is always helping out. Oh, and did I mention the drink prices? The most reasonably priced drinks you will find anywhere. Although, they do not offer food, they do have some snacks you can purchase. Love me some Mastry's.

The best dive bar in St Pete/Tampa, it’s a must stop for those who like to spend some time at the pine. Friendly bartenders, great accommodations, and if you bring a few pizzas into the bar like we did, all the regulars will back you up! Share the wealth as Mastrys, a modern day Cheers where everyone knows your name!

Need a drink in a no non sense bar where you can let your hair down? This is your place. Family owned, known Lay in the day, Rick and Jay and Justin in the day. Great place ever since it was the Pink Elephant down the street. Very historical roots grown deep in the soil under central ave. Give them a visit next trip down.

We have, Marsha, Tanya and Jen for the bartenders! The trifecta of excellence! Never a dull moment at Mastry!s for sure! If you’re in the downtown area be sure to stop in and say “Hey!” Mastery’s bar, oldest bar in St. Petersburg! Since 1935.

Best bar on Central Ave. Most of the other bars are over run with drunk frat boys and charge 17 a drink, but Mastry's was low key, fairly priced and the staff was cool.

The chicken wings were awesome. Got the buffalo with a side of bacon brown sugar sauce and wow!! Good salad and shrimp tacos as well.
